    I may continue playing tennis at an intramural club. I would like to continue to be part of student government and science research.

    What made you apply?

    One of the things that really drew me to Vanderbilt is the collaborative environment that the school fosters. Compared to many of its peer institutions, Vanderbilt truly places emphasis on teamwork and collaboration to provide the best outcomes for students. It’s also a plus that Vanderbilt is located very close to Nashville and has good dining options on and off campus.

    Advice

    I would definitely recommend getting your Common App done early. Many of the questions are general questions colleges need to know about you and completing this part makes the whole process seem more manageable. I would also say to start working on your main essay in the beginning of the summer so you are not stressed when you have all the school work of senior year piling on as well
